paypal charging fees is high...is there a alternative medium to buy online stuff @ other states?

Paypal fees are quite ok. Else you can try 2checkout, egold, or even WorldPay (Fee even higher)

Paypal accepts major credit cards as well.
You should know that for most payment gateways, they charge clients a one-time set up fee, an annual maintenance fee, and transaction fees.
Though Paypal charges a higher transaction fee, they is the cheapest since it does not charge any set up and maintenance fees. Unless you are making big bucks, you shouldn't consider other payment gateways.

Well almost everything got its pro and con so it is a matter of how you look at it 
Just use it for small online payment I think Paypal is good enough.

Ican, are you sure paypal is the cheapest online payment merchant? There are free ones like moneybookers. I am surprised no one mentioned them as besides Paypal, moneybookers is the 2nd one top in the world. Though the percentage of paypal users is much much higher than moneybookers. Moneybookers is free too with no fees at all. | |
