Yes, don't blur blur just enter the cab first manz. Ask the price first before entering the cab.

why u dun walk along the petrol station, then reach Merlin Tower, then cross the overhead bridge? in that way, u only walk 5 to 10 mins from customs, its not very far de what. be caution, dun take ANY CAB at the CUSTOMS, becoz they r all touts, and will charge u ex ex for a very nearby trip

since u r first time to JB. I suggest u go to bugis to take $10 cab to go in singapore. one cab 4 person. you can ask the taxi driver to drop you at the city square. this will be more easier for you since u r first time to city square.
last time i go JB with my student card w bus concession... the trip is free =p.
juz walk from the customs can oredi... can buy the indian snack under the overhead bridge, quite nice. 5RM for a big bag.

if going, can go together then go our own ways after city square ba, i usually go holiday plaza make contact lenses... 200RM for astig-type for 6mths, free 1 mth, so quite worth it..
