and for starting guitar, go yamaha get a pacifica shld be fine
but for LONG LASTING ones, ibanez and ESP are dang bloody good, japan brands after all.
suitable for jrock also.. standard beginner models are $350+...
the one im aiming now is RG350X floyd bridge (white color) which is selling online about $700+
thats why im saving in progress

i see no point if u go internet and learn without a actual object to practise on.
but before buying, can read up on the theories (not really impt) or basic information abt guitars
what type to buy (rosewood/ maplewood?)
how long (how mnay frets) you want
floyd bridge? (harder to tune ***)
picks (how thick/thin you want... electric use as thick as possible)
and...
the chords/notes of the song you're learning (finger placing etc) Quote:

lets just say that to get a ESP random models, you need at least 2k+
Side note to all bassist-wana-be: laruku's bassist tetsu's bass are mostly ESPs, most expensive one is SGD 100k+ custo yo~
the cheaper version you can get in sg, with WIDE variety as possible, is ibanez
