Kotaraya II terminal s not near the causeway...
it s an interchange somewhere deeper in Johor Bahru....
if u 1 2 go city square, u alight the bus when u reach the Msia checkpoint...

there s a lot of buses from Wlands Checkpoint to get across to Msia checkpoint...
or u can walk from SG checkpoint to Msia checkpoint..
about 15 min walk over 1km causeway...

you can take 170 or the buses from bugis, or kranji train station or the stop before kranji, or causeway link. Most of them end at larkin. You just need a bus to get to the other side of the border. City square is just a walking distance

Try not to take 170 from bugis(queen street terminal) all the way to JB, its very long and time consuming. Take CW2 or Sg-Johore Express instead.

Any idea the cost of taking CW2 and SJE these days? Thx.

PS : would appreciate if you know the cost of CW1 too(ie.from Kranji MRT to Larkin)...

Bus to JB (woodland chckpoint), there are many... 170 sbs, CW (forget the number), Express bus from bugis (2 companies - cw and sjs) and TIBS (from woodland interchange)

2 end point at JB (larkin and Kotaraya) you need check the sign when you hop in again at jb checkpoint...
The ratio to Larkin is more than kotaraya....

Kotaraya is behind city square (walk abt 5-10 menits) almost the same distance if you walk from jb checkpoint to citySq.

Kotaraya terminal is where there is bus to senai airport also....

I do not know if there is other kotaraya 1 or 2.

CW2 SJE S$2.50 (somewhere around there), from Malaysia to Sg, RM2.50.
CW1 S$0.90 kranji to JB checkpoint, to Larkin RM1.30 or RM1.40 (prices are indicated at the boarding bay at Kranji)

Do you mean S$1.30 for a ride on CW1 from Kranji to Larkin? (I assume your price quoted in RM is typo).

By the way, does CW operate the same was as SJE in the sense that you board the next available bus after clearing customs (ie.there's a queue for their buses)?

no you cannot board both... since 2 different company.... if u take CW, yes you take any CW bus at custom....

I get your point about CW and SJE's being different companies and you can only board whichever one you bought the ticket from.

Briefly, just to sum up :
CW2 & SJE : Queen St to Larkin costs around SGD2.50?
CW1 : Kranji to Larkin costs around SGD1.30?

Ok, if that's the case. Say if I buy the CW1 ticket from Kranji paying the full fare to Larkin, can I take CW2 (to Larkin) AFTER I clear the Malaysian customs? Or must I wait for CW1? Was wondering it might save a bit of time if I could board whatever bus (ie.CW1 or CW2) comes first, rather than wait for CW1.

Sorry for the typo error, boarding from Sg is in SGD. From Malaysia side then we'll pay them in RM.

Kranji to Larkin is S$1.30
Kranji to Kotaraya S$1
Kranji to JB checkpoint S$0.90.

Yes, after clearing Malaysian customs you can take CW1 or CW2, as long as their destination is Larkin. You may like to ask the driver or CW coordinator before boarding.
