KWAVE IS HERE, BUT HOW MANY 100% JROCK FANS LEFT? Dx

We all know the K-Wave is here, personally, i began listening to Visual Kei quite recently ( may '09 ) ,

i started listening to The GazettE then slowly hunted down the other PSC bands, then Nightmare , then KISAKI , and his indies.

Right now, i cant even count the number of bands i've listened to bcus thrs too many Dx

its kind of disheartening when i switch on the TV and everything is k-drama or kpop. But its not stopping me from loving what i love --Visual Kei

sooo~ how Many 100% J-Rock Visual Kei fans (not affected by kwave at all) left? Dx

Not a J-Rock fan but just want to agreed with you on the part where "its kind of disheartening when i switch on the TV and everything is k-drama or kpop".

I don't even know how the K-Wave hit us. -.-

it's even more disheartening when kpop bands are beginning to have their concerts in singapore while your favourite jrock band is disbanding and you can't even watch their last live, live, not as if you've been to one before.

/shoots self.

Me! 100% J-Rock. Will never succumb to K-Pop. Not even a bit.

Although I do listen to some popular kpop songs, but honestly, they never lasted more than a week, while I've been listening to flith in the beauty by gazette for 2/3 years.

Same same. Catchy songs stay in your head for a week or so, good songs stay for life.
I admit to having "neglected" JROCK for a bit while exploring the candy sweet KPOP but after a short period I regained my senses and figured dancing six packers and booty-shaking barbies aren't really my thing after all. No offence yo. *gets shot by KPOP fan*

True! And I get "bored" of catchy songs quite fast. I will listen to the catchy kpop songs repeatedly, but as time passes when I hear it again I would get annoyed. Like Nobody by Wonder Girls

Re: KWAVE IS HERE, BUT HOW MANY 100% JROCK FANS LEFT? Dx

I'm a 100% Jrock and Visual Kei fan! I just find that there's more variety to Jpop and Jrock whereas Kpop music all sounds the same to me. And it's always groups and more groups who sing the SAME genre of songs. It gets a bit boring after awhile. I have KBS world channel at home. And my sister sometimes watches the music shows where they do ranking of the kpop songs. And really, they all sound the same and the presentation of their songs are the same too!

I never was into the Kpop thing, wouldn't call myself a 100% fan too, but i still like them a lot because i listen to quite a number of genres for Japanese music too.

agree with you guys!
korean songs just dont get stuck in my head for years man! unlike japanese song!

i'm a fan of japanese songs for like almost a decade already! Not because i'm old! it's because i've been exposed to japanese culture since young!

I'm so sad when I can't talk to my friends about JROCK since their enthusiasm limits to K! Why not accept both?
