Sorry i'm asking lots of newbie questions . But does dis means thats a entry level reactive balls can be drilled to act like the reactive balls for oily lanes? Or does it just means that every ball can be drilled to suit my playing style? Oh no i am digressing to drilling. Should i open a new thread for this? ps newbie here both in forums and bowling . |

Personally, I think that for spinners, any reactive ball is good as a start. It's only when you get sensitive to lane conditions (I'm still not), then you need to test out balls to see which suits you. |

Before the TF Solid, I was using a Black Widow. Now, I keep the BW for when I think my hand is too tired to handle the TF Solid, since the TF Solid is 12 lbs.. The BW is 11 lbs. But I'm going to condition my hand to 12 lbs, and I think it's unlikely for me to drop back to 11 lbs.

hard brk? | Spinners use a lot of wrist movement. Spinning with a heavy ball can injure your wrist, that's why spinners now mostly use 12 lbs. The highest I've heard of a spinner using was 13 lbs, and that was years ago.. |

Current Arsenal :
Virtual Energy - drilled Leverage
Mighty Zone - (1st ball so i dont know how it was drilled) 2 1/2 " from PAP - be replacing it so it doesn't matter
Bowler Type :
Speed : 16~17 mph
Rev : 220~250 rpm
or any ball that you might suggest or layout to use based on my arsenal? thanks |

ball suggestion: something in the lower range of various companies why not consider the freeze from columbia?momentum cover with messenger core
storm uses modified core from messenger in their street rods and fast & furious |

as for columbia, i don't usually see PRO shops around my area selling columbia stuffs.. upon further reading im leaning more towards the Storm Fast as it fits the dry condition too.. but im still gathering thoughts.. im kinda considering RG Cell Pearl too but i think it'll react close to my Virtual Energy.. |

which seem to roll earlier,
then maybe you can try Hammer Onyx Vibe.
Mars is pretty decent,angular enough,
yet not too skid snap
maybe tell us how you prefer to play. Straight up or big swing |

Total SGC$: 79.19 | Re: Let us help you select your new ball Hi, I am an amateur bowler here. Currently using the Columbia Scout Reactive bowling ball. It is quite damaged and it is about 1 year old. I am currently thinking of getting a new ball. Does anyone have any balls to recommend? I usually play at safra mount faber and civil service center. So, does anyone have any recommendations for balls that can hook well and the area? A drilling layout will help too. Also, I am still a student, so I do not have much budget, my budget will be about S$180~. Thanks!
