Default Linux club

Any linux users out there?

My vision for this group is to exchange tips, tricks, ideas, as well as support new and interested users in installing or using linux to accomplish tasks that can be typically done with microsoft windows.

I can see that more advanced discussions will mushroom out of basic conversations once it is established.

I have no idea how much sgclubbers use linux or have used linux.

All flavors are welcome. May it be Ubuntu, Fedora, Debian, Knoppix, whatever.

Thoughts?

Cheers,
Marc

I know about Linux as the alternative to Windows. But I have yet to try it. Every time I download the file then I cancel halfway. Heard that I can play Windows games with WINE. That is crazy.
