Re: Is liposuction very painful?

I'm sure it would be painful =X But I heard they give you painkillers.
End result will be good, slim but need to look after it as in exercise, keep fit.
Basically maintain it. But yea! Painful.

I also thinking of doing lipos on thighs, arms. -_-

My friend also said there will be some liquid snoozing out after the lipos.

actually i read that excercise and dieting shrinks the fat cells.. which mean that if not maintained, it can grow back easily (though not as easily as when you shrink it by crash dieting).. lipo is said to be th only way to extract these unwanted tissues from your body.. BUT since you are still living, your body can recreate the fat cells (but it wont be as fast as the former two)..

think of it this way..
fat cells = balloon
huge fat cells (in fat people) = blown up balloon

1)
when lose weight thru diet, excercise or both = release air from balloon
when you regain your weight = blow back the balloon
2)
when lose weight thru lipo = i take away your blown up balloon
when you regain weight = i give you a new balloon for you to blow air into

now, if you were to compare, in (1) it's easier to blow the balloon as the rubber is already quite seasoned but harder to blow a new ballon (2) as it has not been exposed to the stretch yet... hence lipo is better at truly eliminating fats..

then again.. it's an operation, so yes, technically, it is painful (and most ppl tend to forget that the healing is painful too)... and also for every operation there are risks involved.. infections, etc... talk it thru with your doctor and make sure you really need it... if you're only a little chubby, then you should just save your money and excercise your way through.. And don't stop once you're satisfied.. Complacency can lead to a failure if you're not careful.. Lipo is usually only recommende for the really overweight AND ONLY AS A STARTER.. Once the fats (usually not all) is removed, they will still need to excercise/diet to maintain it... Lack of activity and too much food after lipo is still going to bring you back to square one.. With a big difference in the financial portion..

So whatever you wanna do, please think twice before you jump to a decision..

Yes, like contracting the fats cell.
But, we need a healthy lifestyle, so why not exercise.
