Just now I went to yewtee's family food court, OMG! 6 shops were down!!
It includes the cai tao kuey store, malay store, vegetarian store, chicken rice store, yu tiao store, porridge store!!! OMG ALL OF MY FAVOURITES!!! And btw the yong tau fu and the western food stall has already collapsed before once.
AHHHHH!! I hate the other 3 food courts in yewtee!!!!!!!

I believe there is a reason why they closed down together? Rental issues, personal issue (retirement, etc) and so on. Time to start looking for other food!

There is always MacDonald right? If the food court close down, then I guess there is no other choices since Lot 1 is expensive.

There are just too many makan place at Yew Tee and food court alone is 4 not to mention about eateries shop there. Just to name a few:
Old Chang Kee
Mac KFC
BK
Long John Silver
Toast Box
Sushi Shop (can't remember the name)

I heard from my mother that the food court will be closing down permanently this year soon. So maybe their rent lease is up and so they have to close lor. No point renewing anymore right?

huh really ah! after the new shops open, i hardly go to the 2nd floor foodcourt. gosh. hopefully the noodles stall dont close, i love the noodles there.

The Food there is super nice de lor, and it's open 24/7. So sometimes I come back home late, I can still buy ban mian on the way because it's always open.
The hor fan and the lasi lemak stall is also very nice. The za cai fan stall also not bad, always packed yet they provide very fast service.
They also sell cheap and delicious bubble tea at $1 only lor. T_T Quote:

OMG, so many food store KIA liao....
I still remember the chicken rice store back in 99. It's so good, till the GG also.
The western food store, is it the one which is next to Mac that side? I used to support it back in 96/97.

and yup, the foodcourt before revovation was just directly beside mac, now it's not as near already and the stall owner has been changed. ='(
