What makes you so sad you just want to cry?

For me, it's to see in real life or in documentaries, people who are so poor they cannot afford to buy food to eat. The sight of them scavaging for leftovers in rubbish dumps or just stuffing into their hungry mouths anything edible they can find on the ground, just bring the tears to my eyes...:cry3:

And here we are in food plenty Singapore...throwing away food....

same. when i see how poor and unfortunate other people are, i'll cry.

when i watch documentaries or tc shows or even dramas that show great and true love, like someone quietly sacrificing oneself for another out of love etc, i'll cry too. how noble they are and yet the other party don't know.

or those shows when family very loving ones... so touched by the filial piety ones... i'll cry also. even if cartoons, like "brother bear"...

sad shows, tragedies (real or dramas) etc i sure cry. i cried when Princess Diana died. i cried when i saw the 911 incident on tv. i cried when i saw the tsunami documentary after the disaster.

i cried buckets when i watched the "liang zhu" (liang shan b0 & zhu ying tai) movie quite many years ago, and when i watched "xin bu liao qing" (another HK movie)... and many other movies made em cry too.

1. watching touching love stories..be it love between a couple, parent & child or friends...

2. when i feel bad & guilty after hurting someone

3. when i feel really empty inside and wonder what im on earth for...

Oh, I pretty much cry over anything. Even when I feel touched I will cry. :notimpressed2: I'll cry when I feel angry too, so I can seldom show anger since I'll be crying anyway.

I cry worst when people die in shows, and I don't even need to know of the reason. I can walk by the TV in the living room on the way to the kitchen, spot a person dying, and start crying. :runnynose:

What abt the guys ah? Guys cry too mah. No shame in that u know.

My husband shed tears silently when his dad passed away. He was on 'guard' duty beside his dad as doctors said he could go anytime. My husband saw his dad drawing his last breathe...:cry3:

Ya.. We cried when we unable to save the patient in medical centre. Althought our doctor already pronouse dead we still keep doing CPR on him. Keep doing and keep crying.. Its very sad..

yea actually i cry very easily too... besides wat i mentioned above which are mostly based on tv/movie, i also cry when i miss someone, miss home (when away), upset or angry (the norm lah), feel depressed, dejected, rejected or accused. etc etc etc.

Ive never seen my dad cry except for once...when my grandpa was on his deathbed...sad. i miss my ah gong :cry3:
