Guide to making a magic memory stick without your PSP
Difficulty:Extremely easy

What you need
-A PC with Windows Vista/XP
-A Memory Stick Pro Duo(recommended sizes are 1GB,2GB and 4GB)
-A memory card reader that is able to connect your memory stick to your PC

Installing
-Download PSPGrader v006 - http://www.mediafire.com/?ndkmmowyzgi
-Install the program
-Open the program
-Ignore the options at the top,Connect your memory stick and locate the drive via the program
-Format the Memory stick, also via the program and once you are done, select none on the "Trigger button" option and click "Inject IPL only"
-A pop-up will appear, once it says done, close it and disconnect the memory stick
-Voila,you have made a Magic Memory Stick.

What is a Magic Memory Stick for?
-It is used in conjunction with a Pandora Battery to either unbrick your PSP(semi and full brick) or converting from OFW to CFW.

If there is anything you want to clarify, please post it here and we will gladly answer it.

Thanks

FAQs
I don't have a PSP with CFW help!
-Borrow a PSP with CFW from a friend or buy the Pandora battery from a shop.Other than that, open up your PSP to make it pandora. Here's an example.
1)Take your battery and open it using a knife or exacto knife
2)Look on the main board for the display "ICO4" or "CO4" (depending on your battery)
3)Now, take a needle or something like that and remove pin #5
Here is a diagram: (NOTE: you can find pin #5 easily when the ICO4 or CO4 display is facing you!!!!)
__ (pin 4) __ (pin 8)
__ (pin 3) __ (pin 7)
__ (pin 2) __ (pin 6)
__ (pin 1) __ (pin 5)
4)After that, put your battery back together.
5)Done,it is already pandorised.

Diagram here, the pin is located around the small black box on the bottom right of the battery:http://media.photobucket.com/image/P...9/pandora3.jpg

How do I switch it back to normal mode?
-Use a PSP with 5.50 GEN B and go to Recover Menu>Advanced>Make Normal Battery

How do I use the MMS and Pandora battery?
-Put in your MMS and then, place your Pandora battery while holding the "up" button. The PSP will startup automatically. Then, choose an option from the menu.

Again post here if there is any doubts. Thanks again.

I have a Pandora and MMS.What do I do now?
-For unbricking,refer to bottom instructions

1.Remove both your magic memory stick and pandora battery from the PSP.
2.Place the MMS in first followed by the Pandora battery(press up while inserting the battery)
3.The Pandora battery will automatically "force" the PSP to switch on
4.A menu will appear(If it doesn't,restart from step 1)
5.If you want to install CFW,choose the first option. If you want to install OFW,choose the second option
6.Follow the instructions and after it have finish installing, reboot it and you're done

-For switching from OFW to CFW(and vice versa),use the same method as above except that you have to choose the first option from the menu(refer to step 5)(second option for OFW)

HELP!How do I switch the battery back to normal mode?
-Use a PSP with CFW 5.50 GEN-B
-Remove the Pandora battery and plug in the AC Adaptor
-Start the PSP in recovery mode
-Plug in the Pandora battery first then remove the AC Adaptor
-Go to advanced>Make Normal Battery
-Voila!You're done!

It really depends. To be safe, yes get a magicgate supported one.

But its possible with a non-supported one.

FYI
-Yes,Pandora requires 5.50 GEN-B for easiest method,it is just a one-click process.
-I used my fake MS(sorry, got scammed previously) to make MMS and it worked.Don't know about others though. To be safe, just use Magicgate Supported.

How to check original or fake MS
-Go to your PSP XMB Menu
-Move to your memory card icon
-Press /_\ (triangle) and check it's information
-If it shows Magicgate supported, then its original
-If it shows Magicgate Unknown, then its fake

Any more questions?Post here.

Well okay, i get what you meant. You were referring to an automated one-click method.

Shouldn't you include the manual way of making a pandora as well, just to complete the guide ?

Yes,it was originally included in the guide. The manual way is to open up your battery.(you can't switch it back to normal)It is in FAQ section in the spoiler.

Okay, the manual method i was talking about was soft-modding, not hard-modding the battery.

I meant i'm afraid people may think it is only possible to make a pandora using the above-mentioned method and attempt to upgrade their CFW just for the sake of pandora.

You should include other methods as well, which if i'm not wrong, only requires at least 3.X OE/M33.
