After much debate among everyone and within the administrative team, we decided that we can take a small step in this direction of a matured forums.
As such, I'm glad to announce SGClub's official MATURED FORUMS have been formed. But before you bulk at the idea (for non-supporters), pls read the rules and regulations regarding this forum. Permissions:- All members can view & read the forum topics.
- Bronze members & above will require a reputation of >15 to post
- Members with postcount < 300 will require a reputation of >18 to post
- Members with postcount < 50 will require a reputation of >21 to post.
Rules:- Absolutely NO SEX talk allowed.
- Discussion of race, religion and other sensitive issues are allowed.
- All other standard forum rules & etiquette still applies. The only thing unique about this forum is the freedom to discuss sensitive issues.
- Members found posting derogatory, objectionable & immature posts will be banned without hesitation.
We know that the permissions criteria can be improved and many of you will have opinions and objections to why you cannot be allowed to post. However, we felt that members who have earned reputations here through helpful and mature posts are good indicators of members who can participate in such sensitive discussions with maturity and level-headed. This is a small step and most of you are still unable to post there now, but we will observe and slowly change and refine the rules as we go along.
For those who have been passionately pushing for this forum, we hope you will demonstrate to us that this forum is indeed useful and needed. Currently, we are not 100% convinced that there are sufficient topics (without sex) to warrant a mature forum as most issues can be discussed in the main forums. But we will give you guys a chance to prove us wrong!

Besides, the reputation system does not allow members to give each other reputations continuously. We have faith in the reputation system thus far, so this will be a good test

well, when this was first raised, many have spoken up to say that the matured section is NOT about sex. That is the main reason why we have started it in the first place... that it is not gonna be abt sex. So if this is no more true, we'll close it down depending on the response.
If you are asking abt when the sex part is gonna be incorporated, it wld probably not be so soon.
