All what I write down here is not from a book and just my little own life experience, my own practise and the practise – of course - inspired by several Giants and Masters.

So the important things to mention pointing to the subject are:

1. You have to find your own way and if you really want, with discipline you will get it.
2. Like muscle training causes pain, spiritual training causes pain too (surprised ?!) and therefore need discipline and a strong will and mind. If you have that basics you will succeed and even built up more will- and mind power.

So if you want to start easy just watch out for something (Buddhist, Christ, Freethinking) which is able to focus your mind very strong and easy on a subject – be it a picture, a chant, a scene or an object.

Who ever has seen the movie Passion of Christ and the scene where Jesus get tortured and such and sat down after that movie and imagined those scene with compassion will get a taste what I mean with strong and effective meditation.

Mantras alone or esp. contected with the above imagination (e.g. the Christ Rosary as mantra) will lead to the same results of a deep meditation (as long you won’t fall asleep) which has nothing to do with meditation then, more the opposite. If you fall asleep you can think about sex in the same way, which isn’t effective also but maybe more exiting. (he he he)

Please understand for meditation the method doesn't matter, the point is that it works and that you do it as an every day discipline.
(To realize gains you need at least 2-3 month )

Some follow the breath (Vipassana meditation - there are enough books out there ) for other is the mentioned picture method better. Try and find out. It depends on your type and the fitting method, wether you make progress or not.

This basic meditation will help you A LOT already in all situation of your life and you won’t need any spirits for help as you will be strong enough to help yourself.

Everybody who practise good meditation would agree with me that once you stop it you will realize soon, how much power you gain out of it.

Anyway…..

If your goal is to get contact to spirits such as GMT you have to go a step further

(( for the (good) question why somebody would like to wish for that, my answer would be that basically for further steps you are looking for a way of salvation and other spirits are not different from us with the same goal. So to get in contact with them is just a byproduct (for example for monks) on the way to solve up karma and doing good deeds … I liked the poster who wrote he is doing a lot mostly for the Guman and does not expect to much from the Guman … he/she is on the right way!

Therefor the Guman gets strong and stronger a Giant over the years and surely will surprise you one day and pull you out if needed. (that’s not just a phrasal but experience).

Don’t forget even you people will die one day and beside your own (self created) demons, Guman will be still there….- that you might release them someday in this live don’t make them gone forever (there is a bill to balance).)

I am coming from one into the other I know ….
So….

A) A task for people who are fit in meditation for min. about 6 month (I know its individual how far you come in the time frame ) could be for example to get the chance to witness the burning of a (child, granny, women, man) corpus and carefully analyse your feelings while you sit watching.

That’s a strong thing, esp. if you can do it by night at a Wat … watching the whole process on a stack of wood.

(No we are no black magic uncles, but we are meditating about death and life)

B) If you haven’t the chance for that strong number you can meditate on an animal once it died ( a family dog … I DON’T SAY to kill him, but maybe a memory could be helpful if you loved the dog and did watch at the corpus once death.
You can do so in the memories and of course with other of you known animals and search for how the corpse feels to you.
(Doing this after method A) is more effective of course because then other feelings accumulated over time won’t disturb the search for the
right feelings.)



C) If this is still to hard you can start to "stare" (he he) at a mineral (doesn’t matter what kind of stone although there is done a lot of show), then you do the same with a plant and finally you watch an animal. (Timeframe 3 to 6 month on daily practise).


Later you jump with your attention between stone and plant, animal and stone, animal and human being. And so on.
One day it will make click in your mind and you will understand why I am told you to do this exercise and you will be amazed.
(Finally you will be able to "see" a little and so the Guman and long before other spirits...)


D) After this you can watch animals (dogs) or people esp. such while they really want something so badly and watch at them short after they got what they wanted so badly.

Always search what you feel, while you do it, for the sake of developing a connection to what is in front of you.

(Don't get a cramp and teary eyes, just watch and concentrade relaxed on the feelings while you do it


For the layman the methods might sound a little crazy but they are a really “eye opener” to the spiritual world.
For the most people I guess the row of practise would be

1. Prayer meditation and caring of the 5 precepts of the Buddha (or the 10 of Christ)

Then seeking a person in order to develop devotional feelings.
(stop critizise to much  see the precepts again you might find the part)

Then C, B, A in that row.

Never forget!!! The more you do this exercise THE MUCH MORE you have to be integrated in daily life and doing your daily responsibilities and deeds with the utmost care for you and others, living in your social environment.

This is needed for establish the base of reality which helps you not to fly off !! (or getting crazy)



other little Side-exercises are:
- if you think your legs will die from the long sitting in prayer position, just sit 5 min longer than you can take it
- if you eat uncontrolled, just eat what fills you stomach and don’t go for, or judge taste
- fast for at least 3 days (live only on water) and offer the merits to the deity you trust in (careful this is dangerous and very hard exercise)
- stop to masturbate or having sex for at least a month (there is no must, but if you want collect more power it’s a good source -
don't worry about me, I am married <<< thats a little joke na !
- stop watching TV and reading newspaper for at least one month (the scaremongering is sucking your power)
- same for disco dancing and all drugs (even looking for a life partner, watching pornography, or running after the right lottery numbers can be seen as an addiction or a pattern which makes you weak

You don’t need to do all, just find your own way, if you wish so.

My intention (as I had the time) is to show a little how many possibilities are there – beside the course in the next Wat.
And that it is not just so easy to see a real spirit, if not given or learned - let alone the way of buying all you wish in ebay to satisfy the feeling of own powers.

Once you gain in your development, seeing the spirit won’t be your goal anymore, but just a side effect.
Solving up the mess (called Karma) we have done (creation) will be the ultimate goal, which is in a way also perfection of your creational skills.

No intention to write a complete guide but I hope you people find a little of inspiration.

If I did shock some away, with all the work and sacrifices necessary, and you give up the goal to see spirits comming back to the task of collecting merrits, I am satisfied also

it's said that when you concentrated enought, you can see your own aura (not that easy I think =P )

I got that info from other forum. you can see your own aura (little, ex : the tip of ur hair) and many kind of colours too.. each color hav its own meaning..

That you see in the sense of the word is totally wrong - to see the mentioned tip (sorry I don't offend just speak out of own experience)
is dangerous because if you go it on like that the danger of halucination is very much likely and you won't like that.

In fact it is a see-feeling of the aura and its somehow different then really to see. (for example what you feel once you see red?
aggression, imagine you have to live in a fully red painted room for days, how would it feel.

Same when you see spirits. When it happens you know that you are not crazy (ha ha).

Strangely do this feeling creates visions and then it is like seeing, so in the end the aura of a aggressive person has many red spots -
they even "fly" over to the object of their hatred!

If fact the examples I give on the top to look at the different bodies of mineral, plants, animal and human trains exactly this ability.
And therefor that nobody is telling I am babbeling ununderstandable stuff - uhmm let me try.
Its like you see with the receptors and not with the iris of your eyes, but you don't need to move your eyes to focus on what you see.
You just see it.

Can happen that you even see yourself sometimes from another position and then you see who stands behind you (for example ...)
The strange thing is that at this moment it is totally normal for you and you are far away from being afraid

(Guess because kinda higher self of you takes over and as it is much more powerful - if well developed - you are not afraid -- just a guess)


For some it need years, for some just a couple of intense month.

The danger of getting lost - if you not follow founded methods, builting up the base for reality, is given so.

(.. but I sound like a teacher again ...)

i like to meditate (: i can see my own aura also (: hahaa.. best palce is the beach.. i find it relaxing.. and the best time to meditate for me is morning 9am and evening 5pm because from the sun u get more energy.. sometimes after meditation i can don't slp for up to 2 days.. hahaha.. but when im shag.. i can slp straight after that peacefully..

jinxy: are you those that have frequent headache? heart always beating very fast?
do u always get dey ja voo?

Sometimes headache, heart beating ar... i think normal eh..but sometimes will be very fast ... and i only deja voo 1 time only...

i am one of them..where can i learn more...i got in touch with a buddha book few months back and got very very interested in this teaching...they mention meditation inside...(not in detail)...
