I saw that BIG poster outside Singapore Expo.
They are newest organizers who wanted to tap on the popular IT/Electrical Good market.
PC Show, IT Show, Comdex had proven to be successful in recent years so MegaTex wanted a share...

I went this evening (20 Aug). Majority of the exhibits are home electric products such as LCD TVs, , digital cameras, washing machines etc etc. There's also a section selling furniture like bedding, pillows and even diner tables.
There are booths selling notebooks, net books.... Acer, HP, Samsung etc.
Nope I didn't see any freeAgent HDD (sorry kind of rush as I reach at 8+pm).. but you can find Buffalo HDD (320GB) at $99. Acer is also there selling there USB 2.5" HDD.
Yes you can find printers theres (inject/laser) by Samsung, HP, Canon.
Overall, if you are looking for IT products, I think it's not quite worth it (save for the next IT show).
Also, the exhibition site (at Hall 5B) is also a little small as it cramps in other electrical goods. But if you are looking for LCD/Plasma TVs and other electrical goods, you may get some bargains.
Other SGClubbers please do add in your views as well. I went there expecting to see more IT products so my views may differ. Maybe I didn't spend more enough time there.
