Is it true that MI population consists of more than 60% Malays and Indians?

There will not be any accurate statistics about the proportion of race. If you really want to know, you have to go and see for yourself.

That's a very good blog post indeed!

I remember reading it when I chanced upon it upon a google search.

And she seems to be leading a great life in NUS FASS now.

I also favourited it after I read it because it's really an interesting post.

It's just about her telling everyone that, every year there's 1200 students going in of which 25% are from the O-Level Route. And that, if you ranke veryone academically, the lower half could go off to form another JC and not be in the 'top5' at all.

I think it's more of a reminder about thinking twice before choosing top schools with a competitive environment and leaving yourself in peril should you fall of the tight rope walk!

Re: Millennia Institute: Consider it as your choice.

i think if u want to do A leels, do business course, MI may be a choice. again, 3 years doesnt mean more time... its alsmost e same with JCs, just that last year u will have more revision time.

This seems a good place for those who learn by doing, and who enjoy the teamwork of doing tutorials together.
Some people can learn by reading, and more tutorials will make them bored.

There is only one 100% steady solution. Start working hard from day 1. You'd rather cry out of hard work than out of regret. End of story.

Re: Millennia Institute: Consider it as your choice.

Hi all I just got my O level results and I was actually planning to go poly. I've never actually considered going to JC. However, I cannot meet the requirements for the course I want and I'm not interested in any of the courses that I'm offered. I'm not sure what I should do it really stresses me out. I think MI would be a good choice but I don't know or never have I even talked about MI with my teachers. I don't know how it's like there. Please help me out on what I should do.

Why not attend the Open House at MI tomorrow? I'm sure that will be helpful to you

Re: Millennia Institute: Consider it as your choice.

Hi, i received my o level results too and i planned to go to MI instead of polytechnic since i couldnt apply the course that i wanted. But i applied both JAE for MI and DAE for poly course. I planned to go to MI open house tmr coz i dont know much about MI either. I have many questions that i wanna ask about MI school. I looked at the subjects offered and subjects combinations in the MI website. I dont really understand what is H1 and H2 subjects. I know that H1 is compulsory but what is contrasting H1 subjects. Are we suppose to choose any subjects from H2? I planned to go to Course Arts at MI. How many subjects will the students learn? How many subjects are we suppose to choose? Is the school life stress? Is it like normal school like secondary school? Please give me advice on entering MI school. Im having a dilemma between MI and polytechnic.

For A level route, see the A level subject prerequisites you need for the various NUS courses :
http://www.nus.edu.sg/oam/apply/loca...equisites.html

Example : To apply to study Medicine at NUS (and NTU as well), you need a pass (specifically : A grade) in H2 Chemistry and either H2 Biology or H2 Physics.
