I don't wanna use real money so I'm playing Facebook's Fantasy Stock Exchange, but I guess it's similar to the real one, so I need help...

1) How come when I bought 25,000 stocks of Google, the order isn't immediate? My cash still shows 10 million.

2) Is there a list of all the companies and the rise and fall of the stock prices? Coz I dunno which companies exist and how well they are doing.

I think most online stock simulators are real time based. meaning, they follow when the real time stock market opens. I suppose you are playing the NASDAQ simulator so they follow the trading hours in the US. Their trading hours is 9:30am to 4pm. Which is our 9:30pm to 4am. If you buy the stocks anytime after this period, it will only service your order when the market opens. And even if you place your order during opening hours, there is a simulated waiting period to simulate the real world trading of processing your order. Usually is around 10 to 20 minutes if im not wrong. I play the Investopedia's simulator.

Oh. and stock exchanges dont operate on Weekends. Today is Sunday, of course it doesnt process it. Your order will be likely process on Monday at 9:30pm or around there.
