Was having Chem class the other day when inspiration struck... Instead of all your usual blood and gore slashers, how about something where pollution levels reach a peak, acid rain drops spontaneously to pH2, and then we see people melting. So something like a Day-After-Tomorrow, except it's acid rain instead of ice.
