New VSO Requirements??

In order to further assure members here, we have decided to be more strict on VSO application criteria.

For VSO application, we will be looking at this new criteria:

1. You must have attained a minimum of a bronze member (minimum 300 posts count)

OR

2. Have attained at least 3 green dots of reputation.

The downside is, good spree organizers from other sites will not be able to conduct their sprees here unless they become an active member in SGC. Is that ok? Do you think our rules are too strict? We welcome any feedback you may have

I'm in favor of this criteria because potential applicants may not be very active on the forums, so we basically have zero idea how this person's character is. So by the time they hit 300 posts, we should more or less have at least a slight impression of the user.

That's a brilliant suggestion. Nobody would wants to order from a anyone whom they do not know well as all doubts and questions will keep popping up. But well, unless the person has any link or records shown that he/she do have a clean and good biz record then I guess that shouldn't be a problem.

I agree with Number 1 criteria. but for no 2, not so easy to achieve right? to get 3 little green dots?

Its OR ma, so either bronze OR 3 dot rep seems fair

The 3 dots is an alternative if they don't have 300 posts, they can achieve it by making good contribution to the forums or by helping any fellow SGclubbers, then people give them a positive reputation for that. Of course, we will check through the rep system to see if the posts made are really good contribution or not.

Start chasing for spree-ers to do feedback for you via i-trader.
We will probably be reviewing on the feedback as well soon but current VSO will still remain.

Hmm...seems like it will take some time before i can conduct any sprees have. Have been conducting MOs since 2007 in HWZ forums. Oh well, maybe next time.
