If I choose I cfm take NUS.

NTU is not that globally recognised enough. If talking bout overseas and international work market they look at world ranking and NUS is like 20 above NTU.

Fun and relaxation wise, NTU. I did science research program in NTU during secondary school for a year and the environment and air there can never win NUS.

See what you want lor, future or fun LOL.

You cfm take NUS de la. Dunnid sway off le, just go nia.

I think NUS lifestyle would be better, except that you need to spend more money to live in halls.

But the rest are right. Depend on what course you want.

In the end of the day, your degree determines your work life

Hmm.. All courses I want are available in both schools. So it doesn't matter about the course.

NUS is much bigger and more air-polluted? There are shuttle bus in and out. Went there twice to work and I like the atmosphere and the enormous study environment.

I am staying in CCK area. Which one is more convenient in terms of transport? Please help.

Hmm my piece of advice, NUS or NTU add them together becomes NUTS.

Well the stress level is almost the same no matter wat faculty you are doing. Most universities around the world and within the region, are trying to climb its ranking and trying to improve at the expense of students suffering.

Ask yourself wat you like to do best not what course is deemed "prospective". Cuz most jobs positions are saturated outside the corporate world.

U also know bus 197 at tuas interchange is literally packed to the brim and the queue is like as long as the length and the shape of the interchange go.

Going into NTU is not easy. NUS is more accessible.

Budden NUS or NTU for engineering hor, is not really good unless u simply go totally no life and like take me for example, NUS got FSAE (mini F1)projects and competition, if I actively join them every single year as advisor due to my hands-on experience and then FYP join FSAE as a member or leader then got use.

Banking and Finance dun even take their relevant SP students so can **** it...

Business, I think u can la, ur results like god only. LOL. Retake 'O' levels get 6 points lor. Cus 20% computation mah.

All I can say is that if you have no engineering goals/ambition, never study engineering in uni, it will be a waste.

Study business, at least everyday u can happily collect money via stocks.

If NTU/NUS dun take u for business, dun go, imagine memorising those P = F/A and blah blah blah and all you do is to go home and dream about your bf and spree and meetups can forget it liao. You will forever be killing and pushing other lower ranking engineers who spend more time mulling about torque and horsepower to survive.

To be frank, true engineers very hard to have a life unless they have that passion to be able to see a formula and remember it for life. As a reference, F1 engineers sign-on with the respective companies and spend their life or 10+ years perfecting the car.

So yeah, end of my advice. Family and work, if you wanna balance it out, never aspire to be a pro engineer. Be a pro businesswoman.

I plan my route now as a single person, you need to plan your route as an attached person if you wanna get married.

Just dun blindly study anymore, you already had enough of that for the past 3 years. You still want to live a draggy life again? Think about it.

it depends on which courses you taking. not that which uni have the course you want but rather which uni teaches the course better.
like for engineering, there are some people who says NTU teaches more practical stuff while NUS is all books. (till now,i kinda agree as im in NUS 2nd year engineering)

So who score better? In terms of certification, NUS is more worldwide recognised and known. Doesn't matter if you learn anything or not, by the time you come out to work, those things can be thrown away.

it depends on how well you do.
according to ntu people, they say companies prefer to employ them since they teach more technical skills blah blah, but nus people say nus more worldwide recognised.
i personally choose nus as there will be intern and attachment anyways so it doesnt matter if others say ntu teaches more technical stuff.
