Hello happygold, you should do seq first. Aim to finish the essay component by 40 or 45 minutes latest. That will give you time and confidence to do your sbq for your distinction

Re: O'levels Combined humanities (SS/H) -MY STORY FOR A1-

Done with War in Europe, Germany's Defeat, War in AP, Japan's Defeat and Stalin. Hopefully any one of them will come out...

Anyway, this year N level SEQ is:
War in AP: (a) Describe Japanese agression in the AP from 1937 up to US declaration of war in Dec 1941. (b) Explain how Island hopping strategy and dropping of the atomic bomb helped to bring about Japan's defeat.

Cold War: (a) Describe the part played by the US policy of containment in the early development of the Cold War. (b) Explain how division of Korea along the 38th parallel and invasion of SK by NK, June 1950 helped to bring about the involvement of the UN in the Korean War.

Hope that helps

Re: O'levels Combined humanities (SS/H) -MY STORY FOR A1-

Fascism is a form of authoritarian regimes of which the leadership of the country has some form of direct miltary influence. Hint: look at government structures of myanmar and thailand.

Authoritarian regime is a form of government of which its citizens are strongly subjected to obedience to authority. These regimes are often dictatorship. Often run by a single dictator. Look at hitler stalin, pol pot, kim jung ll, kim jung un. These leaders often have unlimited and unaccountable limits of powers.

Miltarism is synonymous with fascism such that it is an ideology that countries should keep their militaries strong so as to use it aggressively to defend or pursue national interests.

O'levels Combined humanities (SS/H) -MY STORY FOR A1-

Guys one last tip, when writing essays, make sure that your arguments have direct relation with the question. You can do this by linking the explanation back to the question. Always remember to close it with a direct linkage by writing something like, eg( refering to n level question) Due to Japan's decision to bomb Pearl Harbour, this enraged many americans which ultimately forced America to retaliate and DECLARE WAR WITH THEIR AGGRESSORS JAPAN. Note the component in caps actually link the factor and explanation back to the question, giving markers no chance to fault you. This is really important and can be the determining factor in a pass or distinction

Nope. But its a good practice to have a rough idea of a time for certain events. Eg. When did hitler took over czechoslovakia and when did usa declared war on japan. More importantly, understand the sequence of historical events by cause-effect analysis. This will help you a lot with memory work

Hmm, i think its fine if you are really solid with your content. Establishing peace has a lot of content though, make sure you are familiar with them. Then if you have extra time, study cold war too
