Thanks, Arozza, do keep us in post. I have already reported my case to the web administrator of ST701 and 88DB and they have already de-activated his account in both website. I shoot an email to UOB bank and report my case to them too. I don't know what will the bank do with his account but obviously he abused his UOB account for criminal activity. I will call my police case-in-charge by Friday to see what else I can do. Any update from your police investigation officer?

econtse | The Investigation Officer basically just say to indirectly not quoting word to word it my fault for begin naive and kenna cheated. But I will still note down your case for further references if he got the intention of upgrading to more serious crimes.
Anyway he is using both a UOB and a POSB account to cheat and 2 local mobile phone number to sms victims.

Even the quote he using is the same. Lol...
Well on my side nothing much can be done even with a police report in hand.
Not worth to take up a private summon against him.
Any ideas how we can deal with this guy?

We knew that criminal Don Dewberries Lim's bank and account number already. How come the Police can't go to the bank and get his NRIC to check out his address. Also, Police can do IP address check and identify his location. Just request those website to provide item an IP address log for his scam Ad only. This have been already used by a lot law enforcement units in oversea.
To me, they are totally inefficient.

However you must know how to unlock the iphone if not you cant use it in Singapore, i had a few friends who ask another friend who frequent visit the states for business trips to buy the iphone and hand carry for them, they manage to use some tools to unlock it and used for 1 year liao.

Tranfr the money to them on Tuesday and arrange delivery on a Wednesday morning.
Till now I yet to get the phone. Call up no one answer mobile. Send email quoted courier got problem that y delay.
Keep rearranged courier time until to this date I yet to get the phone.
Anyone got any experiences dealing from this online store.
Got a very strong feeling I kenna conned. | I must say you brought this mishap to yourself. Why pay for some look-alike? You jolly well know what is real and what is not and you still paid $230 for someone you don't even know. Sorry to say this, but really, it's your fault this time. In future, try to pry for more personal information before you really transfer money into a bank account.
Or better still, meet up, get the business and done. Police need evidence of scam or they won't act. It's like feeding money to someone.. that's one reason why I don't purchase online stuff. There is just no trust in them.
Just don't make the same mistake twice. I'm not saying all online shops/ blogshops are bad, but the reputation caused by the scammers just condemned it.
Just my honest opinion.

So how do u order online from apple.com unless I have a friend over at states who is willing to sign on a plan for my behalf.

Hi, just to share ... my friend did the same like u. Bought on line, transferred money thru UOB on tuesday, waited for 8-10pm for the phone to be delivered on Wednesday but the item was not really delivered. They arranged for self pick-up in a given address just to find out it's an abandoned house. I accompanied my friend to report the incident to the police last Friday night . Hope u have reported too, so this person will be traced and caught. It's really risky to transact on line, one must be very careful and not so trusting. I think the website is still working, my friend and I constantly check it.

Yeah, that's what the police also told us. We were thinking why they could'nt easily track down this person. They said this scammer might have used fake identity. This means that he had fake documents too? Banks are kinda strict in their procedure if someone opens an account. So, we were wondering??? Hehe, hope no other victims will be added in the list. But thanks for sharing this, at least we have a venue to communicate same concern.

They have the authority to check on any info just they simply no see the point to waste their "precious" manpower to help us.
I do believe in the Singapore way of governing but have totally no trust in the police system.
