Total SGC$: 5,366.90 | Online Shopping vs Real Life Shopping I've nvr shopped online before cuz I'm afraid that the size I bought doesnt suit me. If not, it's that the quality is not to my liking. Anyone of you had such an experience?
Also, do you prefer online or real life shopping?

Total SGC$: 238.50 | Re: Online Shopping vs Real Life Shopping I bought online 2 times. 1st time, the product has not yet received (already 2 wks+) until now. Seller replied due to China National Holiday, no shipment therefore causing the delay. I tried another seller, she replied promptly and I managed to receive the product within 1 wk. Surprisingly, the quality is not bad and I like it very much...
Impt note: before we buy online, we need to double check the measurement. e.g. I heard a lot of my friends saying that dress is too short. Maybe they are tall or maybe they didnt actually measure their normal dress length before they order. It cannot blame as most of the time, size is stated. For me, my waist is not very slim. Normally I won't choose tight fit items, as it cannot be tried/exchanged. But the great price offer online allows me to buy more and try more trendy clothes. Hee... |

Many of the dresses they sell are quite short.

But the risk is there, like the item not nice/wrong size etc Advantage
Save time cause surfing net can do shopping already
More variety (some not seen or sold in retail outlet)
Most of the time will be cheaper Disadvantage
Cheap until end up keep buying
Wrong size/colour/don't look like what you thought
Lost postage
Most of the time they do state the exact measurement, so quite okay

And normally they're cheaper, if not if they provide free mailing service it'll be even more shuang to shop too!

It really saves me the trouble of getting out of my house, going to malls and entering every shop just to look for something i want.
I can also avoid those overly friendly sales assistants who often gives me creeps!
But you will always get a shock at the end of the day because it is very easy to lose track of what you have ordered until they send you an invoice!
Hahah. but i still prefer online shopping nevertheless.

Shopping outside is only good if I need a break from home to experience festive shopping like Christmas! Think I'm going to burn a big hole this Christmas again

Real-life shopping..the prices are usually marked up to cover the rent, the sales girl, the marketing, the utilities...=x but of course if you like to try before you buy I guess real-life shopping would be better.

Total SGC$: 70.00 | Re: Online Shopping vs Real Life Shopping why choose if you can have the best of both worlds.... there are items you have to do personally as in physically there to shop andpick it up on your own and there are some that would be nicer if you do online since you are more relax and you tend to get the choices right at your finger tips.
i agree with cuteitop, since in online shopping there are more choices, more chances of getting the best at a very reasonable price.
you won't need to tire yourself searching for something you don't even know where to find :0
also, you can be original and creative which is more cool because you know you're the only one wearing the stuff you bought... as for me, i design my own bag and shirts at http://www.comboutique.asia i can't find any design your own shop just anywhere |

412 River Valley Road ( Opposite Boon Tong Kee Chicken Rice )
Alternatively, online international buying site is www.kelly-cakes.com

It depends which online website you are purchasing the apparels from. If the designs are great, I dont see any reasons not purchasing it and if it's far away in UK. It makes the world smaller and hassle free.
I usually purchase from www.asos.com . Sometimes the sizes can be a little bigger due to UK measurement but I can always alter. I became a regular customer and not afraid of bumping on the street with wearing the same.
However, real life shopping - you can try as many as you can and decide on the spot. It could be implusive purchase if you were in the shopping mood. What matters most is the design of the apparel/ clothes... if you think you love it at first sight. Just go for it. Why wait? =) |

Always having the anxiety for the parcel to arrive.
You never know how the quality like until you received it. |

But I'm a person who shop real life like only once in every 10 times I shopped.
