Piano Lessons for young adults

I'm 20 this year and i'm interested in learning classical piano.
Any recommendations for affordable music school/private teachers? Preferably in the west area~
Most schools seems that they only teaches children

Re: Piano Lessons for young adults

There are different methods of being introduced into learning the piano. Nowadays, even if you're an adult or a kid, you can still be trained how to perform the device. Actually, you've got a wide range of starter grand piano training to select from.

You can try seek help from tuition agencies. They do help to find music teachers as well.

Yup I agree with you. And it's really difficult to find a good piano teacher.

Re: Piano Lessons for young adults

I beg to differ about finding a good piano teacher.
I've been with my previous piano teacher for about 8 years and I did until grade 6 under her. But i felt that travelling to her place was too far for me so i changed piano teacher recently and I've improved quite a lot. My piano teacher's other students include adults as well. I happened to chance upon this piano teacher's website when i was google-ing something. you might want to try looking around for private teachers who can be dedicated. i heard that some music school teachers aren't as dedicated but i'm not sure how true that is, so you there's no harm trying it out

Congrats on reaching such a high grade! I see, actually overall I think a good and dedicate teacher is equally important. And not all teachers in the music school are nice, so it really depends on your luck in finding one.

Re: Piano Lessons for young adults

When i first started... i really felt like giving up. I saw those pro players in youtube, and wondered how the hell they did that, but convinced myself cannot give up then got better and better, now its not that bad after all.

Re: Piano Lessons for young adults

Hi friends! There's 3 young piano teachers I know that you can consider!

1) Charlotte
Charlotte started teaching piano since 1999. Her passion towards classical music led her to Australia to further studies in music, majoring in classical piano performance, and second study in accompaniment. Upon graduation, she had a privilege to teach in a few state schools. In Brisbane, she taught piano and singing to young children.

Her email is charosy@gmail.com

2) Lena
Lena has been teaching for the last 17 years in various classical music schools and also privately. She holds an Associate Diploma in Recital in Piano from the Trinity College London, and also full certificates from ABRSM. As a classical pianist, Lena has also trained under renowned pianists like Adam Gyorgy, Steven Spooner and ABRSM examiner Robert Langston in techniques and performances. She is also trained in Jazz piano and pursues the flute as an additional instrument.

Her email is nekoxnezumi@gmail.com

3) Jonathan
He has been teaching for at least 5 years in both private and school sectors. Mr Jonathan has been providing students with distinction in ABRSM examinations and creativity through their music journey. He is also proficient in teaching pop music.

His email is hongzai93@gmail.com

You may want to check out other piano teachers at this freelancers directory https://beehivee.com/listing-categor...iano-teachers/

Hopefully it helps!
