I think Singapore is unique for its multi-racial and ethnic cultures, so i would suggest that you can start off with a heritage trail to places like Chinatown, Little India, Arab Street, Geylang Serai and Katong/Joo Chiat etc.

Welcome to Singapore, that's what I say when I see tourist in tour buses on the road. = )
There's lots of places where you can visit, we got birds, we got flowers, we got food, we good funny people, we got strange people. Anything ! you name it and we have.
