Trees has been around for ages w/o causing any catastrophe so their effect is so little in comparison to industrial pollution it's negligible. So the trees are still good, they have more beneficial points than negative ones. Just name a few they prevent soil erosion, provide shade for human and a home and animals and some have medicinal uses too.

human vs plant? It is a plus 1 for the plants actually. Humans are destroying the world more than plants... By the way, human fart continue methane too. So does every living things in this world.

ok...
years ago... a chocolate producing company came up with millions to research on how is chocolate beneficial to human health.. and a discovery was made that chocolate helps prevent cancer...
after a few years.. an even more shocking discovery was found... that the cancer discovery was a fake... all out to give chocolate a healthier to boost sales...

know what i am trying to say?
i still think plants are good

ok, lets give the news the benefit of doubt, that its true.

plants has pros and cons with regards to global warming.

can you name me one pros with regards to global warming for industrial waste, burning forest, destroying of natural ecology?

i tink its obvious who the winner is here.

seriously, the trees have been around longer than we did... and so far, they have not destroyed anything... they may give off methane, but they also produce oxygen. nature has arranged it in such a way that survival is possible...

it is human that destroy the system/balance that nature has created... with all of our technology
