Exclamation Please help me look through my 8D7N Taipei Itinerary. (LAST MINUTE/ first timer)
Hi people ,

Its my first time going to Taipei + F&E. I've read through the Taiwan WLMJ (Thank you , it helps alot ! ) The purpose of this trip is mainly for shopping and sightseeing around Taipei. Here's a draft plan for the trip.

I disliked shopping being crammed the last few days. Somehow its alittle of sight-seeing too. Can any kind soul make a few suggestion and also to guide me through the planning process ?

Will be leaving on Monday , 15/6/2009.


Day 1 (15/6/2009, Monday)
3pm to 5 pm: Reach Singapore / Hotel
5pm to 8pm: Taipei 101
8pm to 2am (est.): Shilin Night Market


Day 2 (16/6/2009, Tuesday)
9am to 11am: Breakfast
11am to 3pm: Taipei Zoo
3pm to 8pm: Zhong Hua – Fuxing Shopping Area
8pm – 2am (est.): Rauhe Night Market



Day 3 (17/6/2009, Wednesday)
9am to 11am: Breakfast
11am to 2pm: Confucius Temple
2pm to 3pm: Lunch
3pm to 5pm: Martyr’s Shrine
5pm – 8pm: Lover’s Bridge, Fishermen’s Wharf + walk around Danshui Old Street/area
8pm – 2am (est.): Jing Mei Night Market


Day 4 (18/6/2009, Thursday)
9am to 11am: Breakfast
11am to 2pm: CKS Memorial Hall
2pm to 3pm: Lunch
3pm – 6pm: National Palace Museum
6pm – 10pm: New York New York / Asiaworld Shopping Mall (Help me choose one)
10pm – 2am: Gongguan Night Market


Day 5 (19/6/2009, Friday)
9am to 11am: Breakfast
11am – 2pm: Longshan Temple
2pm – 6pm: Miramar Entertainment Park
6pm to 9pm: Wu Fen Pu
9pm to 2am: Shida Night Market

Day 6 (20/6/2009, Saturday)
9am to 11am: Breakfast
11am – 4pm: Core Pacific Living Mall
4pm to 7pm: Ximentin/Wu Fen Pu / Sight-seeing (free time, suggestion?)
7pm – 9pm: The Mall
9pm – 2am: Dihua Night Market


Day 7 (21/6/2009, Sunday)
9am to 11am: Breakfast
11am to 3pm: Mitsukoshi
3pm to 6pm: Ximenting
6pm to 8pm: Lehua Night Market
8pm to 12md: Wu Fen Pu

Day 8:
Home Sweet Home

*Breakfast : 2hours / include morning shower etc.

OK, not bad. Actually you can take the MRT and bus and train to go everywhere. There's Fo Kuang Shan for Buddhist, and also Ai Li Shan too.

Should I go to Huelien or something ?
First time in Taiwan , Taipei.

Like its alot of shopping and its gonna be the same thing.

Any recommendation ? Yongminshan ?

Quite OK, but I think you will go to Taiwan again and again. I went 5 times to Taiwan. Each time, I explore different place.

One time in Taiwan is not enough, just like Hong Kong or even San Francisco, California, USA.

Arghh ...

I need help You see , the last few days are mostly shopping and I'm afraid that my mum will complain of leg pain (haha) and stuff. Should I plan a day to go elsewhere instead of staying in Taipei , by taking High-speed railway ?

If taking high-speed railway , can someone please enlighten me a place to visit , how and what? Please help

For sightseeing, it is better to travel from south to north. I did that.

From KaoShiung to Taipei, through TaiNan, TaiZhong, HuaLian, etc. Go to hot spring (most place have hot sping), buy Sun Biscuit from TaiNan, tour the temple - Fo Kuang Shan, visit vegetation, eat 2 big watermelon until full, and too many to describe.

i think sun biscuit 太阳饼 is from Taizhong ehs... lol...

and TS, i think your itinery is too focus on Taipei City le, if its F&E, i suggest you to explore the county too...

it by tour package de, this itinery is ok ba~
