:
Venerable Seck Huat Tat has done a good job transforming the relatively small Pu Ji Si BRC over the years. Not only do they offer nice prayer ceremonies, I personally recommend Mr. Vajiro Richard Chia if one is keen on doing basic Buddhism courses and basic Meditation courses in Singapore. He may be secular, still he is capable of delivering lectures in a good localised and socially engaged approach on a bilingual level.

BTRTM is one of my favourite monasteries in Singapore if it were benevolence that one seeks. The presence of nagas as well as both Avalokitesvara and Maitreya Bodhisattvas make this a truly East meets West temple that both serves as a tourist destination and also a venue of spiritual devotion for the Singapore elderlies islandwide.

When I was once upon a time a volunteer with Lions' Befrienders visiting old folks at the two room flats that often included sam sui women and karang gunis, this was truly lacking and when the Government decided that BTRTM will be built it totally delighted me. I wish job seekers all the best, and in case you need secular assistances beyond those buddhist NGOs that TheSunHalo has mentioned, do consider checking out Skillsfuture SG as well as the recently merged Workforce SG. In the longer term I intend on praying agnostically or inter-faithfully at the Founders' Memorial too when the construction is completed.
