My father told me he had 'raised' this Kumantong when he was a young kid... it's quite difficult to raise them you see... you have to 'feed' them with this kind of special 'oil' everyday... if you forgot then you got to face the troubles... having this kind of things are like sigining contracts with the spirits...

Can I ask something.

If you have those KMT and such. You cant control it why not bring it to any temple to seek help? Surely the gods there are more powerful than the Thai monks. I am sure Buddha can suppress them better. Or Maybe if they see so many Gods or those Hell Deity they surely scare what.

sure you can bring to temple to have it under control,at the end of the day who is the one "communicating" with the kids at the temple?

the monk or that piece of wooden/metallic/clay statue sitting there known as the "BUDDHA"?
as a buddhist i am saying that is because buddha already attained nibanna and he is not even present there anymore nowhere in the 6 realms,wat is left are his teachings that are the powerful stuff

back to wat i was saying if the monk is not highly cultivated,how can he summon the power of the buddha's scriptures to influence the kmt?

kmt are consider your own kids,子不教父之过，meaning as a parent u have the responsiblity to teach your kid properly,wat others like monks/ahjahn can do are limited cos they are just the "policemen" that will enforce law and order if you cannot teach yor kids and they commit "crimes"

but why sud we hafta resort to this stage?if we can teach our kids properly?

I agree and why whould you want to scare your kids by doing that ? In the very first place when u want to "adopt" them, u should know very well that u have to love them as your "son". How bad can their behaviour be ? I believe they will go to the extent of being playful only and not causing harm to anyone as they r kids and kids are playful thats all.

i mean what if the child goes out of control? Maybe it can be the fault of the adopters or even the child. Surely something has to be done.I guess it is not say why have to resort to that stage. Sometimes you are desperate and things cannot be help. Even a good parent will call the Police to arrest their child if they know the child is getting out of control.

certainly the person who consecrated the kmt will have a contingency plan when such things happen.

heard a lot of this type of things.
those people who do/did this type of things, normally are those in the gamblings/"eat soft rice".
it is not good for them as they will have to give something back in return.

So is there any difference btw the amulet KMT and the statue KMT? For the amulet KMT, do we need to feed them? Does the KMT amulet and the statue KMT works in the same way? Would they still come out and play or this only apply to just the statue KMT?

Currently, I got a Pidta amulet, am I still able to get a KMT amulet? Would it "crash" if I carry both with me?

i dont think the amulet one got any difference la. both works the same way so you still gotta feed them as per normal. as for the clashing of gods then i not very sure le. but i think should be ok.

well. my fren.. by carrying different amulet.. it wont crash.. some chain can have 7 amulet.. my dad have one with 7 hook.. but didn't use.. haha.. btw.. in fact KMT if u take good care of it.. u will have "good rewards".. haha.. if u wan to know more.. i can share my experiences with u.. haha..

Sorry just curious to find out more on KMT. As mentioned from bro here previously, for KMT amulet and statue....we still need to feed them right. But if we would to wear it to work , so how r we suppose to feed him since we r wearing it? Or r u referring to when we reach hm, when we remove the KMT amulet, we had to feed them...please advise. For the KMT amulet, would they still come out to play in the middle of the night?
