Can try 'Caraven'... But if u really need a lot of help, go for private tuition.

Re: Recommended Tuition Centre

Hi there

I studied O levels in Singapore and A levels in the UK..

Really Recommend Caraven Tuition, with many branches all over singapore from Bishan, Tampines and their headquarters in Orchard Plaza.. Go to Orchard Plaza where they have their main office to get all the information you want.

For O levels, Tutors/teachers in Caraven to go for are:
Maths- Mr David Khor (He is also the writer of the Add-maths textbook used in the singapore)

Chemistry- Mrs Kang (very very good and very enjoyable classes)

Physics- K.C Ong (He is a Legend and will make sure you score)

Biology- Mr Lam Peng Kwan (As Lee Kuan Yew is the Father of Singapore, Lam Peng Kwan is the father of O level biology in Singapore)...He is the best.

If anyone needs help, just PM me...Im new to this whole forum..just saw this thread and just wanted to help anyone who wants to find good tutors..

Re: Recommended Tuition Centre

Highly recommending I3 Tuition centre. Go yahoo it for contact numbers.

I had English and Additional Maths tuition there for my preparation of O level this year. It's really effective for me in enhancing on my grades, especially the English Lesson conducted by Miss Tina. If you really want to see good english result on the long run, i think i3 is a good choice.

Re: Recommended Tuition Centre

Caraven also has some really crap tuition teachers... so better make sure who's tutoring before signing up for the class.

Re: Recommended Tuition Centre

i will recommend mavis for a/e math! the teachers there are pretty helpful! however if you're seriously struggling, then i'll suggest you go for private one-to-one tuition as then, you can clear up all the doubts you have. the extra practices tuition centres offer are usually effective only if you understand the basic concepts
