i stayed at laguna redang too. their food sucks. big time. And i remembered when we went swimming in the pools, came back to the rooms, our room doors were opened and noone was inside or any attendant whatsoever. damn scary later robbery. Anyway i heard berjaya redang is gd, but its quite far from the rest of the resorts. Maybe u cn try coral redang?

The best time to visit is between April to September when seas are generally calm.

Different resorts have different specific opening and closing dates but all are open by 1 March and close by 1 Nov. please check with them
