Respect or pride?

When children are in wrong, they apologise, how about parents? I have seen some my friends' parent apologise to them if they were in wrong, but should parents apologise?
Some parents do not apologise when they are in wrong and do you guys think that's a right way for parents to behave?

Re: Respect or pride?

Of course they should, but only if they are in the wrong. This is to teach the child humility.

Re: Respect or pride?

never heard of my parents apologize to me... I will feel really weird if they do. lol.
Not necessary to express apology in words but by action to prove feeling really sorry.
