In celebration of World No Tobacco Day this year, HPB has organised a "Rockin' Without Smokin'" event at Plaza Singapura Open Plaza & Sheltered Drome from 29 May (today!) to 31 May. The event will be launched by our Guest-Of-Honour, Minister for Health, Mr Khaw Boon Wan, on 31 May (Sun).
There'll be 2 components in the event:
Stage Activities (29 - 31 May, 2pm - 9, 10pm)
The event comprises a range of stage activities such as:
- (Anti-smoking) Hip Hop Dance Competition Prelims (Sat) and Finals (Sun)
- Campus Rapping Competition
- Guitar Hero Competition
- ... and many more!
We have also invited Felicia Chin and Elvin Ng to join us in celebrating World No Tobacco Day on Sunday! And at around 8pm, we'll have a rock concert with popular local bands playing!
Experiential Exhibition (29 - 31 May, 2pm - 9, 10pm)
This is the first time we are organising an Experiential Exhibition (at the Sheltered Drome) showcasing the benefits/ills of smoking on:
• the environment
• fitness
• spending power
• physical appearance
