Science

I'm very interested in watching YouTube science videos on topics such as String Theory, Parallel Universe, Multiverse, Illusion of Time, etc.

I find them entertaining and they also help me understand Buddhism better.

I wonder if there are anybody with the same interest here.

Re: Science

When I was at Anderson Junior College nearly two decades ago, I remember my Physics teacher Mr. Ng Eng Hock who is a devout Buddhist telling me in the laboratory that he is 1% energy and 99% empty space. From my college days onward, I was quite determined that I would prove the sciences in Buddhism and I recall putting scientific journals in my school bag reading them on the MRT trains. There are these days loads of good books whether at Kinokuniya till our national public libraries that can offer Singaporeans insight into how Buddhism and Science actually do co-exist. It helped that one China has been modernising since Deng Xiaoping placed more emphasis on science, mathematics and education than his predecessor Mao Zedong, plus the fact that Japan and South Korea made dramatic recoveries after the atomic destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki with American strategic alliances. These days science and Buddhism are both not difficult to discover with empirical evidences across the Commonwealth realm as well as in developed countries such as Singapore. Here is wishing all academia wannabes all the best in your spiritual and intellectual endeavours.
