I just got my SDI diving license month ago..

According to my diving instructor, the difference between SDI n PADI is, one no need to do the paper exam n watch 1x video while PADI require their students to sit for the exam paper n watch 5 videos..

Padi sit for exam is for talk cock session LOL, only video is sianz.
But i manage to survive it by muching food on it =X
Only have padi Open Water =X dive twice only

i think the learning cost is almost the same despite of padi or sdi and etc...
the most important thing is to find an instructor who is really can be trust..... =)
