Hmm .. I think that'd b an effective way indeed to blocking spam.
Another way would b via changing the 'culture' of SGC,
where ppl are more inclined to just not spam based on their
own call .. that would take alot of effort\cooperation between the mods
n the members though.

i'm seeing captcha everywhere these days.
if i'm supposed to fill in catpcha-s everytime i reply a post.
it's not very convenient?

talk about user-friendliness. | Certainly the user-friendliness will go down, but if there's a need to take drastic measure in case there's too many nonsense post (which will eventually kill the whole sgc community), it'll be one of the more effective solution.

Stellar:: I think it's a glitch in the system. Maverick is looking into the matter... It should have appeared by now, 'cos another thread that faced the same issue had the edit button up again.
