SGClub is a public and popular forum. We will bound to get the occasional trouble-makers and trolls out to create chaos and havoc around here. I know that there are some who even deliberately set it out to be irritating and to stir up a whirlwind of unhappiness just for the fun of it.
So what should we do?
Sure, mods & admins can ban them. But I don't think that is the best way. At the end of the day, more will come and we as a community are just being led around by our noses.
Thus allow me to propose the solution. Let us all try our best to act mature and not allow such nuisances dictate how we respond. Do you really want to allow such jerks to push your buttons and manipulate you to get pissed off as they actually desire? Thus, just ignore these people and encourage everyone else to do the same. They can act like jerks but let us all act like gentlemen and ladies here and soon enough, they will realize that they cannot manipulate our emotions as they please.
I know it is very ambitious and it will take alot of time. But I feel that rather than banning such ppl, they give everyone a good chance to train our characters and maturity. That is truly what I hope this forum can also do for everyone here, and that is to help all of us become better people.
You can call me an idealist, but I want to believe that this forum can be used for something bigger and better than just a place to while away our time during leisure. So, can I strongly encourage everyone to NOT let stupid people manipulate us to react and spoil our own days?

Well said.
i think we need to exercise maturity in such areas, like when you knew that someone is out to seek extreme attention, you do have a choice of ignoring him/her, or dive in the pool, and join in the tug of war.
i seriously urge everyone to be calm whenever encountering such situation.
the majority people just love the forum too much, and upset whenever there are people trying to be funny.
let us all unite ourselves, and show other people that we are united as one.

Ignorance is bliss. Its good if people try and get them to stop, but ultimately, we can't force our views on them. They've the right to say what they want, and we've also the right to ignore them. if we can't get them to stop, then like others have said, ignore them. Banning them will only result in them feeling angered. Who knows, they might just make another account and start a spree, insulting and ridiculing everyone. Given that accounts are activated on the spot, it is possible such antics might happen.

never feed a troll.. thats the idea.. Because when you do the "person" will be more happy and annoy you more. So to me is best to either ignore or report.. No point making it such a big matter and fighting with them.. you are just making them reach their objective

There is a plus point for ignoring trolls, which is what you said. They'll feel bored after awhile and leave you.
However, some might choose to irritate until somebody takes notice.
Of course there are bound to be the ones who retort and refute whatever the 'troll' said, nothing wrong, but shouldn't there be a common 'rule' set in place for dealing with trolls? Maybe a note in the Rulebook or something? Set a uniform way with dealing with these trolls.
