Should i study N/0 lvl at this age.

Should i go back study and go for exam just for cert? : I over 30's and just have N(T) Cert. Some people told me to go straight for O's ..: go for 1 -1 tuition on selected subject and go straight take exam. Do you guys think i should go for it?

Which subject or how many should i take?

That depends on what you need an O level certificate for. Are you planning to use the O level cert to progress within your industry, or to move on to another industry? Do you intend to progress to a Diploma in a Polytechnic, or take A levels as a private candidate, after your O levels are completed?

That's totally up to you (since you're a private candidate, and you're doing this for yourself, not to enter any JC or Poly), and which subjects are more relevant to your new industry.

can i ask a dumb question. For the exam, example i study 7 subject. do i have to complete 1 shot in that yr of exam. Or i can study 7 subject, but maybe i can just take 2 subject exam which i am more confident this yr. and the rest next yr etc?

For L1R4 and L1R5 purposes, all subjects must be taken together in 1 shot.

Only for the purpose of declaring that you've passed a certain subject, eg. English, then you can take it separately, but you cannot use your passed result to recalculate your L1R4 or L1R5.

I advise you to retake all subjects in 1 shot, and aim to do better in all subjects. Doing so will get you a better L1R4 and L1R5, thus giving you more options for both JC and Poly in the following year.
