Singapore "select committee" on "fake news"

You know, back in 1997, Singaporeans were already very pissed off by the way the PAP government run the country!! During that election, I clearly remember that when the opposition parties win a seat, there was a "huge cheering" echoes in the air, whereby the cheers was coming from nearby blocks and even few blocks away!! But when PAP win, there was a "total silence" in the air, whereby u can even hear a cricket sound!! All these years, I have been wondering why the PAP was able to win elections after elections, which in fact, the vast majority of Singaporeans resent them!!

That's why I am wondering, how "open and transparent" is our election system? Especially on the "votes counting" part...I read the news that some place can't count the votes on the spot, like other countries do. The reasons the government gave was, to me, invalid. Like HDB areas got strong wind, rain etc. They have to "take the trouble" and transport the votes containers from the HDB to another location to count the votes. I mean why they have to do that? Why they can't count on the spot, what is there to hide? It is such a trouble and unnecessary steps to transport the vote containers from one location to another location just to count the votes, I mean it is rea.....Oh wait.....Hmmm.....

The whole point is, I hope those PAP ministers don't "ownself vote for ownself", and then "pretend or imagine" that the vast majority of Singaporeans vote for them and that they like the PAP!! If there was really such a "dirty things" going on....

Re: Singapore "select committee" on "fake news"

Last time, Jack Neo's movies "Money Not Enough" reflect the livelihood of normal Singaporeans. There was a scene that a actor described the government suck people's money as if using a straw to suck effortlessly. Some ministers might laugh at the scene or other scenes in the movies.

Problem is, Jack Neo wasn't joking....That is how Singaporeans really feel about the PAP government!!! The ministers only care about themselves!!!

Re: Singapore "select committee" on "fake news"

At first, I thought only LHL was spoiled. But now, I realise that some PAP ministers are also spoiled, due to the fact that they lack criticism from the opposition parties as well as the general public!! Because back in the 1960's, 70's, 80's and 1990's to around 2000, there was no internet. And the situation of our opposition parties is a joke. They can't pose a challenge to the PAP, and their members even have to "choose their words of criticism cautiously" on the PAP, due to the fear of the PAP retaliation.

So, these bunch of PAP ministers slowly and unavoidably develop a "Spoiled Big Bully" mentality!! And on top of that, they stupid enough to give themselves million dollars salaries, the highest minister's pay in the world!! Without realising the whole world (including their own citizens) are watching them!!
