Singapore should close down clubbing areas.

Hey guys i really think Clubbing areas should close down.As you can see people are squeezing in to the dance floor and once they sneeze is like their Battle Fury (Dota) Splash attack =X.Ns men are always around these places. They will spread to their comrade.Students also hang around especially poly students, university. Its really something to panic because Singaporean mind set thinks that its ok now. This can be worst then Sars.Im not trying to scare people but its really time to worry and avoid crowded places and be responsible as well.

Re: Singapore should close down clubbing areas.

funny thing u link it to dota.. but i would say closing the clubs would not be a very gd idea.. cos companies will lose money and just as the economy is starting to pick up, it isn't ideal to close the clubs. they are also a form of entertainment which for some ppl are quite essential. and i believe it is more on self-discipline on ppl. if we are sick we should quarrantine ourselves or wear a mask. and perhaps try to be more positive as well.. tis virus still rather mild

Re: Singapore should close down clubbing areas.

I really think it's a good idea. I'm still wondering why they turned to be so open at the club while they are so shy normally. What kind of magic did the club used on them? Maybe the wine? I don't know...

Re: Singapore should close down clubbing areas.

You say clubbing areas are to be shut down due to H1N1?
Then wat about other recreational centers? Cinema? Shopping centers? Public transport? schools?
More s'porean go to these places on a daily base, all need to close down as well?
Why dun we jus restrict every1 to their homes, close our borders till the tide is over...
If TS is targeting @ the person that is unwell but still go clubbing and risk contaminating others i can totally understand...
He/She should be caged in a metal box big enuf only to do about-turns (jus joking)...
But not by closing these places, it will not help...
Mayb TS should state more clear on why he is aiming @ clubbing areas instead of jus that there might be body contacts...
Cos if so, there are places worst, geylang, BMTC, swimming pools, etc...
Or itis that TS jus dun like clubbing areas...

Re: Singapore should close down clubbing areas.

It will be mission immpossible for the clubs to close down, they are tourist attractions.

The owners will sur KPKB and beside the youths will go to other places to congregate like shopping malls, McDonalds, etc. Are we going to close them them as well?

H1N1 is actually not that fearful, the fatality rate is low compared even to the seasonal flu.

When you are meant to go, you will go regardless of H1N1 or not

Re: Singapore should close down clubbing areas.

i feel TS suggested this cause they don't like clubs. bad experience? nobody wants to hook up with you? wait this is about H1N1. *roll eyes* like everyone says, we keep in contact with people everywhere. might as well quarantine everyone to their homes since you fear H1N1

kristy some people will die if ppoeple don't club, like those who work at the club or club owners. thats their life blood. haha
