SINGAPORE: Singaporeans who have not signed up for their Progress Package have one more week to do so before the 31st December deadline.
Giving the reminder, the Finance Ministry says if they do not sign up by year end, they will not be eligible to receive their Progress Package.
This includes the second portion of the Workfare Bonus in 2007, if they qualify for it.
As of 15th December, 2.2 million Singaporeans, or 97 percent of the 2.3 million who qualify, have signed up to receive their Progress Package.
Meanwhile, grassroots leaders have been getting in touch with lower-income Singaporeans to help them sign up for the Progress Package.
Over the last three months, they have visited more than 12,000 residents living in 1 to 3 room flats. - CNA/so
