Staff adjusts arcade machine to make it harder to win
STOMPer Jaz said a staff at an arcade she went to had adjusted the doll-catching machine to make it harder for players to win, after a man next to her had managed to catch a few dolls.
She said:
"We were playing with one of the UFO doll catching machines when we noticed the uncle next to us had won a few dolls.
"Then the vendor came...and adjusted the machine, so that it will be even harder to catch the doll.
"This is like...so unfair to us, right?"
What do you guys think of this? I have noticed myself that even when the hooks have properly caught the dolls, they seem to be too heavy for the catcher to actually bring it all the way to the drop point.
Not very fair isit?

haha... Life's like that.. best is dont play..
i rather use that amount of money to buy a proper soft toy
and not those put in the machines.. that look soo lousy n ugly one.

i dun play with this doll catching machines one... coz i know it's made to be easy.... hahaha... might as well spend a few dollars and buy the doll..... very cheap one mah. no stress, no time wasted, no frustration.

singapore machine grip are super loose (not sure correct spelling anot)
When I was in Taiwan, almost 1-2 times, I gotten my toy. Unlike Sg, I think it takes hours for normal people like me.

There're many machines that are sucking money in the arcades...
One popular machine is the one where you scoop sweets to put on the moving platform then when the platform pushes the sweets down, you get a chance to spin the wheel and increase your distance by a bit...
I've seen many ppl give away bags of sweets because they can't bring home so much...
They can also exchange a few of the small plushies for a huge one...

ya.. i agree they're meant to "cheat" people. I dun understand why some people like to play the sweets machine.. you can get much more sweets with the amount of money they spent on the machine. | |
