So slowly, i'll thank one by one.. (:
Corporate REPC Team,
You guys are a great bunch of people!
Both Foo Hup and Myself were busy hunting for the running jerseys which were misplaced, you guys had done calculations for 60+ companies' running jersey sizes on day 1!
Though i didnt really talk to some of you on the pre-event, but i serious thank all of you for the hard work, especially in settling companies with really bulk registration, one of them, the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), which have 1027 runners, and we have to get 1027 gym bags, 1027 running jerseys, and 1027 runner bibs!
Thanks guys!
Usher / Marshal Team,
Hmm. i was asked to assist both areas by the boss of REPC, Rubin.
Day 1 of REPC, the scene was in a big chaos, as our internal server was totally down, and we could only use Manual system.
Both marshals and ushers had been verbally abused by participants, as the queue stretches to 4-5hrs, which i could understand their fustrations.
its not your fault at all, so, just ignore whatever the public says to you.
to the 4 Leaders, Dexter and James (Usher Leader) and Muhammed and Cindy (Marshal Leader), thanks for helping me overseeing the whole convention Hall 603 during REPC. Luckily day 2 onwards, everything went fine. Thanks all!
Overseas REPC Team,
Throughout the 3 day, i've seen my volunteers "grow".
From not knowing a single thing of REPC, to able to speak confidently to our overseas runners who enquires about the event makes me feel happy.
Though i was at the Helpdesk settling diffcult overseas runners all the time, i can see that most are serious about the work instead, and from an overseas runner, who saw me on the event day, he wanted me to thank the whole OREPC team for all the help they've given as they're not familiar with Singapore.
Thanks for providing Overseas Runners a service with a smile!
Drink Station 15 Crews,
i only communicated very little to you guys, i'm sorry about that.
while you were busy handling drinks to the FM Runners, i'm busy attending medical cases as one runner had a tight chest & difficulty in breathing, while another, suffered from knee dislocation.
thats why you guys seen me running to and fro the Ambulance and the Medical Evac vehicle.
Thanks for volunteering your time from 1am to 1pm.
i appreciate all your hard work in all areas to make the drinks station operate as per normal of 12000 ful marathon runners. Thanks!
Thanks for all your participation, hope to see you guys again next year!
