With the recent rise in awareness of cruelty of sharks fin trade and many hotels and restaurants banning it, where do you stand? Would you still deliberately order sharks fin?

Assuming it is affordable lah....

Honestly yes! Not just the fin, shark meat also eat Sometime wet market sells them lol. They taste alittle like sting ray

can't possibly let them throw away right? isn't it a waste to throw them away, be it chicken, pork, beef or shark fin.

Shark's Fins are expensive, do not really have any awesome taste and most importantly, consuming them means being unethical to the aquatic world.

Buying it, you are encouraging the of killing the shark.
BUT,
Not eating it, you are wasting the pain that the shark have gone through. Die already. Let the death be justified to our stomach instead of the bin.

firstly the cruelty is irrelevant cos is just as cruel for all the other animals like pigs, chickens, cows, etc. instead two points are whether sharks r really endangered anot (different ppl say differently) and oso whether really just take the fins but never use the rest of the shark (wasting is always not good).

secondly yah the fin itself actually no taste so if really wanna play safe just use fake type (made of gelatin or watever) loh, the soup will still be just as delicious!
