I am NOT against the sex thread being taken off. Not at all.

I am only AGAINST the idea that others can determine FOR YOU on your behalf how you should think and what you should see, read, or write. Now, that's offensive.

To me, sex is the trivial-est thing. So, if the thread is here or not... it doesn't affect me.

But for pidan the whistle blower to ask the mod to close that thread because HE HIMSELF was not comfortable (for whatever reasons)... and the mod actually took the thread off... it shows that there is not much avenue for individual thought. Some virgin kid just run around screaming 'the sky is falling', 'the sky is falling', then everybody have to be forced indoors?

What about those who WANT to experience the sky falling on them? Don't they have a choice too?

That's my opinion. (And in the end, did the sky fall? Of course not. Yet another unfounded fear by 'well intentioned' people). Leave the choosing to the individuals.

I understand you are talking to mod about setting up something 'adult' in nature with restricted access. However bro, that is not my main concern. My main concern is that if you don't like, don't click on it. No need to deny others of the equal liberty they have to click on it. True?

And yet... now the government raise ERP gantries all over Singapore, fuel prices rise all the way, and everyone just suck it in and move on. They like complaining to the 'authorities' so much that they realised now, they cannot complain to the government about the government. So they suck it and shut up. Good. Look at Korea. Protests and governments have to start negotiations with the people. That's what CHOICE is about.

Singapore? Only zombies walking around complaining about EVERYTHING to the 'authorities' and everyone else just goes along. In the long run.. everybody suffers.
Personal choices diminishes, public choices dwindle.

I am just attempting to reclaim a bit of my life, freedom, sanity and the right-to-choose. And am sharing my views with other Singaporeans who may grow up to make some powerful choices which may determine how they would impact their world, that there IS an alternative.

well..i guess sgc is a very open forum in a way that it does not have a fixed topic.
