Suzuki or Toyota

I'm currently driving a nissan sunny and i thought of replacing it. I was thinking of getting a Suzuki Swift Sports or a Toyota Altis. Any suggestions?

Re: Suzuki or Toyota

Toyota Altis. Suzuki recently car design have a design fault. It is located at the pillar next to the driver side mirror which add additional blind spot for driver!

Re: Suzuki or Toyota

Depends on what type of driver r u. If u want vroom vroom then Swift Sport. If u just want a vehicle from Point A to Point B, drive normally then choose Altis.

Depends on what you're looking for.

Do you have to ferry your whole family around? or are you by yourself most of the time.
Are you looking for a fun car? or just a point A to B car.

Since you're driving a Sunny, by changing to an Altis, you won't feel much difference both in terms of space, feeling and the power, as both are 1.6L 4 door sedans.
But going from a Sunny to a swift sport, the first difference is in seating position, and as what Ashlyn says, it seems there are more blind spots in the Swift.

The swift has a lot less boot space, and rear passenger space as well.
comparing both, the corolla has a better interior quality, design, and a more 'classy' feel than the swift.

But if you're young and want some fun.. sacrifice these little bits and consider the swift sport (manual, don't bother with the auto).

Yup Yup. I feel it like abit small inside even the driver seat as well in swift. I had tried on a 1.3 Swift but I find that the power isnt there. Maybe it is not really meant for 1.3

You're too used to your Sixties le.. its a big car.
I rented the 1.5L swift over here as well. it was a fun car.. minus the weird seating position.

Re: Suzuki or Toyota

I used to drive vios. Quite similar to Altis i think. Decent normal car. No expectations on that ride.

Currently driving a swift sports. I woul say ppl will buy tt car only if they appreciate it.

Coming from a mod car background, this car is good enuf even at stock and beats most of it's level.

Sports suspension with factory camber settings, high compression engine for torque after 3k rpm and short shifter, it was europe's car of the year in the program, "Fifth Gear". Good and fun for singles or just married couples. About ppl throwing egg at, i've seen modded altis that i wished i threw some eggs at.

If you're a family man, the altis would be your choice for better seating room with a boot coming in handy.

Price wise btw these 2, not much diff imho after breaking up into instalment.

Re: Suzuki or Toyota

I used to drive the Swift. Performance wise it's so-so. WHat was disappointing was the OMV of the car. I really got back very little for the car when I traded it for my current peugeot.

Re: Suzuki or Toyota

go for toyota altis as it has bigger space and save petrol...
if u are suzuki i don think it is good choice because tall person sit inside the car his/her leg will not have space and also the back u cannot put alot of thing...U also bring too much ppl because suzuki suspension very low...

Overall i choose toyota altis..
