Thread for NAFA 2012.

Anyone applied for NAFA?

Lets all share/ask about NAFA.

Or talk more about it till we get our Admission results!

For me, I had just applied for NAFA's 3D design, Major in Interior design.

Also, i had done my admission test on 28/1 few days ago. Its quite challenging IMO. (3D design)

Firstly, paper1 part1 we are suppose to continue expanding a given drawing into either a Furniture, Product or Jewellery. They gave us two oval shape overlapping each other.
For paper1 part2, its the same as above, but this time, the shape is given in a form of Curvey line.

For paper2, we are suppose to Design a drawing of either a Sky garden or Playground and COLOUR it. Its probably the most challenging one. Especially towards those that can't draw, as this paper can really SCREW UP ur entire test. Its totally not easy to draw out a 3D view of either an entire Playground or Sky garden. Not easy at all. (Plus colouring).

Paper3, we are suppose to write an essay either on our paper2 design, OR another qns on what will we design if we are given a chance to design on ANY thing in this world.

Thats it. Hope i can pass my entry test

omg hello! i applied for nafa and had my test date on the 28th of jan as well! but i applied for Arts Management (performing arts major) hehe

OMG!!!! HIIIESSS~~~

Anyways! u remember the day when we go there lineup?? theres like 2 freaking Q's!! i went wrong side!! end up going to the Right hand side Q for Arts Management one. LOLL!

So funny~

Anyways~ i juz called the NAFA admission ler. They say shortest waiting time for result is 2wks. Longest is 1month frm the date u took the test. means we will be getting our result latest by 28th of Feb.

woah shortest waiting time would be 2 weeks! that's fast!!! hehe anyway, good luck to you!! hopefully both of us would be able to enter nafa and maybe we'll see each other then!!!!

Both our course has Internship program. Urs will be on the third year. If im nt wrong mine is on the 2nd year.

we are supposed to make a poster / collage for a food festival then write down our rational tt simple! lol.

ahah for what's tested on 28th it's kind of complicated, but it's a written test. i can't really remember the details already cos it was really wordy! they gave us three questions to answer. and i only remember the first qn which was to write a speech... hahah my memory is failing me :/

anyway i hope we all can get into nafa! then we'll be schoolmates YAY!

haha actually not really, it was more on like expressing your views on some ideas and problems.... it was tough but it was fine? hahah omg so contradicting hahaha!

BTW guys, SOME listed NAFA diplomas can be used to apply for NUS and NTU's degree

-Forgotten to share with u guys-

But u muz work VERY hard. Although its very silly to go NUS/NTU when NAFA itself has their own degree which is more recognised in the Creative indsutry.
