no way.
The first movie was awesome, the second was a complete mess.
Too much to cover in too little time and totally throwing out most of the great characterisation of the first one to replace it with more insane action.

Optimus Prime in the 80s cartoon looks very different from optimus prime in the other cartoons, even in the latest Transformers: Animated
Even they looked different in the comics published by different publishers and drawn by different artists.
Their toys also looked very different from the cartoons.
I think having different incarnations of the characters looking very different from each other is a trend in transformers.

Transformer 2 is SO BORING. I feel asleep in the theatre.... It was 2.30hours long, and everything I knew was some robot fighting against another robot. and after one fight, it was fighting ANOTHER robot. in the end, one robot won. -.-
