Is twilight really that good?
after reading the book i found it quite average. i mean, the storyline is great. it forces readers to think and it sparks curiosity.
but as i slowly read on the other books. i start to find it a bit too draggy and stephenie seems to be running out of ideas.
this is my opinion. how about the rest?

I hate the movie, period.
The book is pretty predictable.
But i foolishly fell in love with the story because im a hardcore vampire junkie.
Throw me anything from Anne Rice or Laurell K Hamilton!

Its only draggy when you read it critically. Immerse yourself in the book. Take yourself as Bella. Experience the book instead of merely reading it. Only then, you will find it nice. The storyline and plot and all the ideas are meant to be simple, I think. Just think, will a complex plot bring out Edward's and Bella's love? Probably not.

there are so many threads on the twilight series already lol... and my only reply to threads like these is that the twilight series suck. i'm not even going to repeat myself on why it sucks so bad.

agreed. was quite disappointed with the depth of the storyline. but i think it's quite ok for a movie though... *edward cullen comes to mind*

But the only vampire based books which will really entice you are from Anne Rice.
