my friend told me although twilight has quite a 'mary-sue' story, stephanie meyer really wrote it very well
content may be not very satisfactory but the language & presentation is good, as i heard
though this could be culture bias, besides anne rice's works i think that kinoko nasu's tsukihime is not bad for vampire stories too but it's just a pity that it's a visual novel (there's translations for it in English though)

It's not fantastic, but it's till quite ok.. It's basically a typical fairytale in which boy meets girl, falls in love, got problem, problem solved and they live happily ever after!

i was actually hoping for more action but to my dissapointment, thats all thr was...and after i finish the whole series...i dun like jacob..and i dun like bella...i wished i had stopped at the 1st book w/o continuing...

yeah...agreed..the movie is bad. It skips alot of parts (like all book-adapted movies does) .
But, the book.....was....i can't say the best, since i just read Atlas Shrugged. It is not very thought provoking, but the plot was decent and all, with the twists.

twilight is too draggy. the writer keep going on n on where she shpuld jus stop n end the story..
some parts jus too fantasy..

Well Twilight was like the first novel I ever read and I found it great(used to hate books,so maybe its just that I never tried reading thats why its great...)But I found Breaking Dawn excellent due to finally feel how it feels to be a Vampire(through Isabella's point of view...)But the ending was not really good for they kinda build everything up then end it with lets run away...

i love twilight a lot...
however there r goods and bads abt the book...
new moon and eclipse was like a bit draggy... i still like them... and now finishing breaking dawn, i felt tat the author should cut down some lengthy fantasies and maybe go straight to the pt...
the description and writing style no doubt is good... overall, i still find it a good read...

edward cullen is too perfect.
their love is too perfect.
not enough action to keep me reading the book.
i stopped after Twilight. no New Moon, no Eclipse, no Breaking Dawn. lol.
