i gave it a shot, read book 1 all the way to book 4, i'm completing it now.
the first book was ok, so she's in love with a vampire fine, it's a fantasy series after all. so i read the second one, which wasn't exactly wonderful but still interesting when her best friend became a werewolf.
book 3 was alright except i realized the entire series is centred around a girl obsessed with 2 extraordinary guys and she's pretty physically depraved.
AND LO AND BEHOLD BOOK 4. god bless you all who have come this far. she gets married, pregnant and now has demon spawn brewing in her eating the life out of her. OH AND THOUGH SHE'S AFRAID OF THE MERE SMELL LET ALONE SIGHT OF BLOOD... guess what? she drinks cupfuls of it to feed her "baby" and says ashamedly that she actually enjoys the taste of it.
like how much more ridiculous could this story evolve to be?
it just whirls out of proportion to become downright ludicrous. ugh.
i guess the only appeal of the series when it started out was the persona of Edward as the perfect guy. every girl's dream come true.
oh and i do find it highly annoying that a third of the 4th book revolves around sex starved bella bugging him to BONK her on their honeymoon. (which implanted the demon spawn)
and she actually cries when he doesn't.
WTF? i had higher hopes for the series but it just became too unrealistic.

the fifth one is written in Edward's view and there is an illegal leak* in the internet before it is officially published which upset the author and she decide to temporary stop writting. But she say to be fair to her readers, she released the leak draft out at her own webpage.
*the author knew who leak out the draft because she know who she give the draft to read.
